El Caríbe, Bonao, Dominican Republic

The Institute for Integral Development (IDDI) sponsored a two week woodcut workshop in their school located in the rural and impoverished community of El Caríbe.  We were housed in a local family home and worked in photography and woodblock printmaking. The students chose to document their community and address local environmental issues. Materials were left in the school for continued use.
